Wanda, I met you once - the day I interviewed Jim for the Next Door Neighbors magazine. I have been writing for a long time but his story was - and will remain - one of my favorites. He was a strong, patient, kind and funny man. And I could tell from our interview - that he adored his family and the farm. My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with you and your family.

Wanda and James Jr, I am so sorry to hear Jimmy has passed. We drove together when he worked for Genova Express and ended up living down the road from each other, waving each time either of us passed. He was a great man that will not be forgotten.

To the Hill Family, We were so sadden when we heard the passing of Mr. Hill. He was such a kind man and we always looked forward to him coming to the farm. We will keep your family close in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

My sincere condolences to you and your children. This is a very difficult time; but, Jim loved you very much.

Our thoughts & prayers go out to The Hill Family. He was adored by many for his prized sweet u-pick berries, local honey and fresh eggs. He will be sorely missed by young and old alike, as he was not just a farmer, but a true friend.

I will miss Jim so much. I had not seen him much this year,and missed his quirky sense of humor. He will be missed dearly by myself and the community .I will keep your family in my prayers during this difficult time.
