James Myron Ludwig

Jim was a decent man who served his nation in the Navy, loved his family, and took up opportunities in the hopes of improving their circumstances. I saw him toward the end; and even then -- his capacities dulled by a terrible wasting illness he did not deserve -- in the presence of family, his love and spirit shone through.

So sorry to learn about Jims battle with Alzheimers and his death. I was acquainted with Jim through Reno Rodeo; he hadn't been around for a number of years, but I didn't know why. He was always so proud of his children and wanted to share the latest regarding their education and jobs. Jim was full of information on a variety of topics – which could lead to very long discussions.

Jim was a valued member of the Builders Assn of Northern Nevada, and was respected by the construction community. He shared his time, enthusiasm, and expertise with BANN, making the industry stronger through his involvement. We extend our condolences to his family.

We were glad to have been a part of Jim's care at our adult day center. He was a great guy, and we wanted to pass on our shared grief with his loved ones.
