James Parrinello Obituary
JAMES V. age 96, passed away January 16, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Bette Parrinello; loving father of the late Pete (Sandy) and Jim (Sally); proud grandpa of the late Jim, Pete (Laura), Pam (Ed), Jim (Michelle), Patrick (Rachael) and Amy (Matt); great-grandpa of nine and great-great-grandpa of two. James was an especially proud WWII Veteran. He was much loved and will be dearly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers please consider Hospice of Michigan. Visitation Friday, January 20, 2017 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Funeral. Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores.

Uncle Jimmy will be missed. He was a funny guy who helped me learn that humor makes others feel better. The world will be a little sadder without him, but heaven will be a little more fun.

Parinello Family, I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I can't imagine having a better neighbor to grow up next to. It was hard to figure out who the kids were and who the adult was when Jim was around. Whether it was going for bike rides, or playing catch in the front yard, Jim always loved being around us, as we did him. He will be missed terribly, but it's nice to think that he'll be with Betty again!

I was sad to hear of my Uncle Jimmy passing. He was a bright light in our family and one of the funniest men I have ever known. As a child my Uncle Jim, Aunt Betty, Pete, & Jim lived down the street from us on Fairport in Detroit. I always found it comforting to have a relative living down the street. We were all so very close then and spent all holidays together at my Grandma & Grandpa's. Today families have such distance between them that the closeness once felt is gone. I will miss him and know he is in heaven with his mother, father, Aunt Betty and his sisters.
