Not sure what to say?

Dear Steven, Debbie, Chris, Stephanie and grandchildren,
I was so saddened and shocked to hear of "Uncle" Jim's passing. "Auntie" Rita and Uncle Jim were special to me because they brought that piece of NY (Chateau Pelham,Amendola's, and The Bronx) to us to share together here in St. Louis. We shared that NY family bond, stories and food recipes ! They were my family here in STL. They were always sweet and loving toward me and my family. I will cherish and remember the times we shared...

Dear Steven, Chris and Stephanie,
We were so sorry to hear the news about your beloved father. We will certainly miss his weekly phone calls, his humor, and our discussions about the good old days in Pelham Manor, food and the Chateau Pelham. He was a great husband to my sister Rita and a loving father. He was very proud of his entire family and all your accomplishments. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always and may your father rest in peace with your mother.
Love,

Dear Uncle Jim,
I know that you are finally reunited with Aunt Rita. You were always so sweet and special towards me....many fond memories. One memory in particular was that you would tease me about "seeing the man on the moon." Now you can be that man on the moon who watches over all of us. May you shine brightly and rest in peace.
Love, Sabrina

My thoughts and prayers are with the Vasta family. While a tremendous and inconceivable loss is felt, we can be comforted by the thought of James in heaven with his wife whom he talked about so often and so deeply missed. It was a privilege and an honor to have known such a great man. Our lives would not have been the same without him. He was an amazing friend who will be so dearly missed. Thank you James for all of the beautiful memories! Goodbye for now to such a wonderful person. Until...

You use to tease me about the "man on the moon" if I could see him. Well, you can be that man on the moon watching over all of us. May you shine brightly.

Mr. Vasta, I considered you "Grandpa Vasta" too. I will miss our calls and how you always made me laugh. I feel blessed to have known you. I regret that we didn't get to take that long car ride I promised you. You will be truly missed.
