I regret I was unable to attend Thursday evening in Luckey.
Jim was very proud of you all.

Years ago, we hunted and fished together a great deal. My very first deer hunt was in Pennsylvania, wearing his dad's coat and pants.
( got my first buck that year )
Also , I will never forget his cousin Kenny Rife , standing in our campfire , telling us he had gotten "the bull of the woods". ( it was a little bitty buck ) !!!...

I have not seen Jim since about 1970. I tried to track him down in Woodville many times when I was home on leave from the Army. I just couldn't find him. In about 2002 I was told that he had moved to Tennessee.

I considered Jim to be one of my best friends in high school. We hunted squirrels, rabbits, fox and ducks together many times. He always managed to kill many more squirrels than I did each year. He was a fine outdoorsman. I will always regret having been able to maintain...

Please accept our deepest sympathies at this time.
