Not sure what to say?

To the Le Cren family - I just ran across six of Jan's hand painted greeting/note cards while I was cleaning out a dresser drawer. I didn't know her, but am impressed by each original sailboat painting on each card. I would be happy to pass these on to the family if you are interested. email address is [email protected]. I am sorry for your loss.

Jan got me started making “Play Quilts” for the special education Infant and Toddler Program at Alcott Elementary School. Last spring she called and asked me to come get “some boxes” of fabric from her garage, as she was no longer able to sew. Wow – I brought home a TON of fabrics, which I continue to use to make items for the special education program at Alcott. Interesting - My husband and I went to Indiana U (he graduated, I didn't and actually heard of Shortridge Hi and Butler U), we...

Dear Carol and others in Janet's family.
I remember Jan from Shortridge and I, too, graduated in 1949. I especially remember her artwork hanging in the Shortridge gallery. She was a sweet gal!!!! No more pain, no more suffering....she is with the Lord.

God bless all of her family and friends,

Dear Carol and all family members,

It was our pleasure to get to know Jan and Dick during our ushering experiences at the Globe. We are certain her loving memory will be in your hearts forever. She was a very nice person and lived a very good life. Love and Peace be with you all at this difficult time.

Warm regards,
Marilyn and Ed Rauser

Dick and Carole:

You are in my thoughts and prayers during the loss of Jan. We know she is with Our Lord now. I always enjoy to watch the interaction of your family at Mass. The love you have for each other always shines through in your smiles and true warmth.

May the peace of Jesus be in your hearts.

Dean

I am so saddened to hear of Mrs. LeCren's passing. My heart goes out to each of you.

We have so many memories of our families together that I treasure deeply. I often think of the fun times we had together growing up - school, water skiing and gatherings at our homes.

Mr. LeCren, Carole, David, Doug, Tammy and Carson, I am keeping each of you in my prayers and close to my heart. May this very difficult time be softened a bit knowing that you are surrounded by...

The Delta Gamma Fraternity has lost a dear friend and sister. Jan gave so much of herself to so many people. Her memory will be honored each year at the Founders Day luncheon through the Jan LeCren Service to Foundation Award.

Jan was an amazing woman. We enjoy her artwork in our house every day. We always enjoyed our get-togethers even though they were few and far between the past several years. Our sympathy to all of you.

Dick and family,

Jan was "one of a kind" and we will miss so many things about her. She was wonderful to work with on the many volunteer activities of our Guild, so organized and correct. She was funny and full of wit and always enjoyed a good joke.

Jan was so many things to so many people it would be impossible to mention all of them; but, you can be assured she will be in our memories forever.

Your family are in our thoughts and prayers and we know you all...
