Javier Hernandez, age 60, of Dyer, IN, passed away on Friday, May 29.
Javier is survived by his wife: Bertha Hernandez; three sons: Javier Hernandez Jr., Brian Hernandez and Brandon Hernandez all of Dyer, IN; two brothers: Hector (Laura) Hernandez of Glenwood, IL and Felix Hernandez of Mexico; and three sisters: Marcela Vega of El Paso, TX, Laura Beatris (Jose Alberto) Corrales of Glenwood, IL and Maria Isabel Rubio of Aurora, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents: Felix and Adelaida Hernandez; and sister: Claudia Rebeca Rubio.
Javier was in sales with Rosebud Farm for 40 years. He was an avid White Sox, Bulls, Chicago Fire Soccer and Blackhawks fan. Javier also coached soccer in the Munster Soccer League.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN from 2:00 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Geisen Funeral & Cremation Services in Merrillville, IN at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
