Not sure what to say?

I only just learned this week of Jay's passing. My condolences to his family and friends. In my experience, Jay was always an excellent attorney, respected by anyone who had the privilege of working "with " him...even as an adversary. He was honest, fair and an attorney we all should strive to emulate. I know his family meant everything to him...with maybe only golf a close second. That donations are asked towards the Caddie Scholarship Foundation is just a perfect statement about the...

SO sorry to hear of another great classmate's passing. Jay was a great guy. All the best prayers and wishes for his family. Terry (Maiers) Williams

Jay was a close friend in high school and was the best man at our church wedding in 1962. We also worked together one summer, while we were in college, for was then Plainfield Union Water Co. He took Pat & I out to dinner, just before the wedding, at Pal's Cabin in West Orange, NJ. We will miss him! Andy Sayko & Pat Westgate Sayko

My memories of Jay all revolve around golf. Played many rounds with him at Plainfield Country Club. We were also both active participants in the Annual Ums Invitational Tournament. Jay was a class act. I wish I knew that we were both graduates of St. Peter's College as it would have added to our friendship. Jay you have run your race and can now look forward to a deserved rest. He was one of the nicest people that I ever met in my life and I it was a privilege to have worked for him in the early days when he was a young and...
