Nancy, I was so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I had planned on calling him the first week in January when I got a call from Donna. Jerry was a wonderful person and I enjoyed knowing him through Austin and my time at Flotek. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Condolences to the family. A mutual friend, Clint Lee, told me what a devout and marvelous man Jerry was. Clint treasured his friendship and told me that Jerry always shared a personal prayer with Clint every time they were together before they parted. He will be missed.

Dear Nancy,

I am so sorry to hear this news! Jerry was a wonderful man who knew how to master the most demanding and rewarding element of generosity--the uninhibited giving of oneself in friendship. His kindness and love were an inspiration. Knowing him was a great blessing in my life. You are in my prayers during this time of loss. I hope that your grief will be gradually be assuaged by joy-filled memories of a life well lived and well loved. Please don't hesitate to let me know if I can do anything for you.

Sincerely and with highest regard,

Bryan

The Lord's way is hard to understand sometimes, but His ways are always the best. Jerry knew that deeply. He is in Love with Jesus. Now face to face with Jesus, having the greatest Bible study ever and forever.
Jerry is my friend, and I even considered him as a surrogate dad after my father died. I met Jerry around that time and we instantly became friends. Although we had a lot in common, our favorite subjects were LSU Football and Jesus Christ. I will miss talking to him here on earth, but anxiously waiting the day Jerry, my dad and myself will be standing together before the Throne of The God Most High. Thank you Nancy for being such a great bride and wife to Jerry. You are his glory and Jerry was so proud of you. Blessing and peace to you and your family.

Psalm 143:8 - "Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life"

Certainly, Jerry placed his trust in the Lord and has now gone home to a better life - let us now celebrate his life with us.

I worked with Jerry for a couple of years at Flotek. Jerry was a great CEO but more than that he was a great human being. He always took time out to come by every morning and say hello to everyone. He was always approachable and helped everyone in need. When we had hurricane IKE come through he helped several of the employees by helping procure generators etc...that was just one of the examples of his humanity.

RIP Jerry Dumas. Thoughts and prayers with the whole Dumas family.

To the family and Mrs. Nancy, I am so sorry for losing such a wonderful man! I loved when he would visit the LSU Alumni Association and tell football stories. I imagine he is chatting with Larry Jones and talking about new workout routines and how much he loved Mrs. Nancy! Prayers and comfort to you.

Jerry (always in partnership with Nancy) made a powerful difference in numbers of peoples' lives. His motivation was always clear - serving Christ his Lord. I knew OF him long before I knew him personally, and I am so grateful to have him enter my life for several years of common purpose. With many others, we give him over to God with thanksgiving - and pray for the comfort and hope of Christ for Nancy and their family and friends.
