Mr. Jesse Gayle Beck Jr

Jesse Gayle Beck Jr. passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 after a long full life. He was 92. Jesse was born on February 24, 1928 in Goosecreek, Texas. He grew up in Boling, Texas where he and his Mother moved when he was a young boy. After graduating from Boling High School, he attended Baylor University where he played football and majored in accounting. He was drafted into the army and after basic training moved to Houston. He began his accounting career at Great Southern Life Insurance. Jesse spent 35 years at Great Southern where he retired as Vice President. His early retirement years were spent in Wimberly, Texas. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling. Jesse moved to Horseshoe Bay and Bullard, Texas before settling into his golden years in Spring, Texas. He never lost his sense of humor or love of a good bourbon. Jesse is survived by his children Michael and Anne (Peck) Beck and Karen and BJ Loza. His Grandchildren Jeffrey Beck, Whitney Beck, Cody Wheaton, Zachary Loza and Henry Loza. His Great Grandchildren Grant Beck, Reed Beck, Ian Beck and Spencer Beck.
