I grew up 2 doors down from Joanne when she lived with her mother. Only a few years younger than my mom, they became very good friends. Joanne even came with us for a month long trip to California when I was 10!! She always made me laugh. She will be sorely missed. Her family, an extension my own, will be in my prayers
