Jody Rouse 53 of Berthoud died May 25, 2014 at Longmont United Hospital. He was born August 25, 1960 in Thermopolis, Wyoming to Marvin and Eleanor Harvey Dockery. In August of 1987 he was united with Emily Harding Henke.
Jody was the owner of Main Street Car Wash and very dedicated to his family and business. He donated money to community organizations and was very involved in fundraiser?s for children. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting , all sports including the Broncos and the Colorado Rockies.
He is survived by his wife Emily Harding Henke Rouse of Berthoud; His father Marvin Rouse of Thermopolis, Wyoming; Children Michael Henke of Berthoud, Jake Rouse of Berthoud, Heidi Henke of Berthoud and Jodi Maguire of Douglas, Wyoming; His brother Benjamin Rouse of Lakewood and 3 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother Elleanor Harvey Dockery.
A celebration of Life/open house will be held Sunday June 1, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Longmont. Cremation entrusted to Carroll-Lewellen Funeral & Cremation Services. We were so shocked to hear of Jody's passing. He was a good person that had a comforting presence about him. He and his big heart will truly be missed.
