Got to know John really well at Langley when i started crew cheifing on his nephew Tommy Sweeney's granstock. Every race day he would joke and pick fun at us about beating the #8 car. The night Tommy won i think John was as happy as we were, he gave Tommy a hug and shook my hand; great job he said. We are going to miss John coming over on race day picking and joking around with us. RIP#29

It was so hard to hear about the passing of John Brown. I have many fond memories of us at Buckroe Beach and other places we would go to hang out. My heart is completely broken yet I can still laugh a little at some of the things you used to say. My family sends our prayers to your family in hopes that they will find some peace in time.

John and I have been friends 20 plus years and though he was not without his faults he had a true and sincere heart I can take comfort in knowing that his struggles are to be no more and that he is now resting in the arms of Jesus. I will see you again some day my friend..
