Not sure what to say?

John will be greatly missed by all of those that had the great previlege to have worked along side of him. John was truly in command at each of the jobs he ran. I know that so many of the great people I worked with at Austin greatly benefitted both professionally and personally from their association with him. I believe he approached each project with the same tenacity and persistency of General Patton. He was always looking for ways to advance the project faster. To be able to keep up with...

John was a truly unique individual. I had the good fortune and priveledge to work together with John on the Vista Ridge Mall in 1988-89 and learned a lot from him. John had a significant impact on Austin Commercial; many of our current employees learned at the feet of John, so to speak, and I would be surprised if anyone doesn' credit John with part of their education - Construction and Otherwise. One of my fondest recollections is John sitting on the slab in one of Vista Ridge's Rotundas...

I met John while the Hotel Anatole was in the final days of completion. He was brilliant, demanding, and focused on project completion. Walking the crane out of the atrium through a hole in the outer wall of the building was awesome. John knew what it meant to "get'r done." He was a living legend, for sure.

Mr.Hancock hired me while I was attending SMU in 1983. I took 1 year off for the opportunity to work with him on such a unique project. I admired his work ethic and constant attention to detail. Thanks for allowing me such a great experience.

John was truly one of a kind. While building landmark projects, he helped in very important ways to build our company, and he had great influence on many who will shape the company's future. He will be missed.

I first worked with John at Austin Commercial in 1995 on Twinstar Semi-Conductor Fab in Richardson, Tx. He was a brillant man that never ceased to amaze everyone around him. He will be truly missed!

Never got the chance work with Mr. Hancock, But have heard a lot of stories. God Bless.
