I have had the pleasure of knowing The Mumbler for way too long. We shared a house on Bernard Avenue back in the early days when we were all just getting going with our careers after university. We had a lot of fun in that house particularly because there was an apartment full of girls downstairs. John became accountant to his friends over the years keeping us out of trouble with the CRA. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

John was my friend and then my accountant for over 40 years. He was a wonderful person with a very big heart and a very kind soul. He was always a person you could count on for thoughtful advice and true friendship. I will miss him a lot and feel very fortunate to call him a friend.

To my dear friend Holly I thank God for my friendship with you and John and love you and your family. John was always welcoming and kind to both Alan and me. We grieve with you. There are so many memories of Thanksgivings, birthdays and visits to London for Western Homecomongs and the Elton John concert. John's dedication to his faith family and friends was remarkable . God Bless you and your children and my condolences to Michael David and Peter as well. Love Wendy

I have many fond memories of John when we were on a student trip to Europe after high school and then during our years at Western. He was always friendly and kind to everyone. My deepest condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.

I met John through his daughter Laura. He was always nice to talk to. My deepest condolences to you Holly and Laura and the rest of the family. May Gods bring your comfort.

I first met John in 1985 at Hilborn as a student. Later as partners our relationship grew to also be friends with strong ties to family and a shared enjoyment of the outdoors. John was one of the kindest individuals I have met, with a great sense of humour. John recognized he led a very blessed life and was always very humble. I will miss your friendship, and I hope you are truly at peace JP.

What an amazing legacy ! God brought him through a full and courageous life taking care of family no doubt in this life and the next. Praying for you all that you would have strength in Christ!
