John William LeDuc

Dr. LeDuc was my advisor during my masters program. He taught computer programming and Calculus III to me. I liked his sense of humor and appreciated his advice. When I was close to finishing graduate school, he asked me if I was planning to work on a PhD. I told him that I was not and was planning to teach high school (40 years so far). John was a nice person. He recruited me into grad school at EIU that included a 3/4 time benefits paid lecturer position. That paved the way to a 28 year stint teaching in Indiana´s community college system. Thus he not only impacted me and my family, but also an unknown number of students that I taught in my community college career. Thanks John.

My sympathies to the family. Enjoyed his sense of humor as well respect for his stature as a gentleman.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Though we hadn't seen him in many years, we enjoyed John's company. One of the best memories is an outing on Lake Shelbyville.
