John graduated from Schaumburg High School in 1983 Bridgton Academy in 1984 and Drake University in 1988 where he belonged to the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm ? 4:00pm Saturday May 20 2017 at Whitley?s Funeral Home 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd Kannapolis NC 28083 704.933.2222. Service will be held at Whitley?s at 4:00pm. Donations can be made in John?s memory to: Humane Society American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association.
John was a good friend. He was my pledge brother at ATO. I was fortunate enough to visit his family back while we were at drake. Although we had lost contact over the years I had often though about him and wondered how he was doing and what he was up to. Reest in Peace my brother! Love DV
