John "Jack" Northrop Ph.D.

I lived with the Northrop family as a 16/17 year old AFS student for a year during 1973/74. I will remember Dad as an incredible athlete and passionate conservationist who generously shared his interests with me. I met Jack briefly in November after buying his horse as a replacement after loosing my own after 28 years. He was such a delightful gentlemen ...he reminded me of my own dear father I had recently lost. A man of the old school. He and I sent pictures and e-mail of his horse in his new home. I know selling him was a hard thing to do so I really made an effort to keep Jack up to date on "Star's" new home here in El Cajon.
