Not sure what to say?

His grandson, Luke, is a chill guy.

Trying to contact his wife Debbie. Is it possible?

Once again, thank you John for keeping my Marine Corps career going in the right direction.

It is the covid year of 2020 and I am just learning about Johns passing. We worked together in Guantanmo Bay, 1981-3. He was the supply officer and I was the S-4. Powerhouse of a Marine and a Christian gentlemen. He is absent from the body and face to face with the Lord. I will miss him.

A fine Marine, a leader! Col Pomfret was my CO in Iraq in 2003. After both of us retired, strangely we both wound up in Charleston SC where I worked at SPAWAR and he for a contractor with work at SPAWAR. I always enjoyed his company and chatting with him about stories from Iraq. I posted a photo here of him, I, and Gen Mattis at Diwaniyah, Iraq. Col Pomfret and I did two presentations together at Camp Pendleton on our year in Iraq. He also pushed me to write an article that was published in...

On the second anniversary of your passing, you are still missed and thought of every single day.

Surprised and sad to find out that John has moved on at such a young age. I owe my Marine Career to many leaders and John Pomfret was one of them because he did what good Marines do, he took care of his Marine, me. Since serving with him in Cuba in 1981 I have been promoted many times and served until retirement April of this year. In 1991 I was at an academy in Quantico and ran into him by chance at the convenience store, he invited me right over for dinner. Thanks John for being part of my...

I continue to miss you, John...
