Angelus Funeral Home - San Antonio Obituary

Jose ?Joe? G. Calderon age 47 of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Joe celebrated his life with a giving heart and open arms, full of laughter and quick wit. Friends and family always came before his own needs. Never was there a gentler, kind, warm hearted man. He enjoyed reading, deep conversations, life stories, short trips, and the sound of soothing rain. His joy came from music, arts, and great writers. He embraced living outside of the box and helped others color outside of the lines. His free spirit, while missed will continually be celebrated.

He is survived by his daughter, Aja Calderon; ex-wife, Julissa Flores; sister, Leticia Calderon; brother, Paul Calderon; and a host of loving friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 2, at 2:00 P.M. and a Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel.
