Not sure what to say?

May future generations of teachers carry on with your dedication!

Requiescat in pace.

With the passage of another eight years, I still remember his excitement in getting a live phone connection to England during a class (a rare thing in 1968) to discuss the progress of the Henley Royal Regatta.

I was in one of Joe's summer school enrichment classes. He was an inspiring teacher. I have also been teaching for the past twenty-five years. Requiescat in pace.

At this late date I am not sure anyone will be reading this but I was just made aware of the passing of Joe and wanted to say a few words. For the past forty years I have been an educator in the state of Florida and I can tell you that it was Joe Della Badia who had the greatest impact on my decision to go into education. I graduated from Westfield High in 1967 and had the pleasure of taking many social studies course from Joe and each one was as interesting and exciting as the last. He...

Dear Della Badia Family,
I had the privilege of working for Joe at the Plainfield School and think of him often. Joe had a unique gentle kindness and genuinely cared about others. He will be sorely missed.

I also had the privilege of working with Marlene at the Howe Library and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you for this devastating loss. I want to thank you for your kindness during a very difficult time in my life and think of you often,

Dear member's of Joe's family,
I had the privilege of working under Joe's administration at Plainfield School. I have such fond memories of his time with us. He was so personable and treated all with whom he had contact with dignity and kindness. He had a fun streak which showed itself at all the right times and he made us laugh while maintaining professionalism and leadership. It saddens me to hear of his loss. May your hearts be lightened by stories of all the wonderful ways he...

Dear Della Badia Family, very sorry for your loss. May the many wonderful memories and the love you shared, bring some comfort at this time. Know that many people care and send their sympathies.

Dear Della Badia Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I felt I knew Joe well as an educator and caring person. I had the pleasure of working under Joe's supervision in Norwich-Dresden. My husband also served on his school board. Joe then was part of the search process that installed me as superintendent in Meriden.
I know he is missed.
Best regards and and sympathy in his passing,
Noelle Vitt
