Not sure what to say?

Dad, I miss you terribly! You have been everything to me....my best friend, mentor and most of all my rock.....you have taught us all so much...love, compassion and patience, but most of all I think the most important thing was to try to help others. I remember the days of following you around like your shadow and wanting to be like you...I only hope I can be half the person that you were with your kindness and love of people...you will always be in my heart and by my side to guide...

im sure going to miss grandpa, epsecialy every time i would visit and we would play checkers, and i would lose realy realy bad, i bet over the 20 years i knew grandpa, i might have won 10 games, life sure is going to have a huge gap in it without him around.

Dad,
Words can not express my feelings for you and how much I will miss you. Life is what you make of it and I hope that you realize what an inspiration you are to all.
There are so many great things that you exposed myself and the kids and Ted to. I think that is why Elly and Emily picked the careers that they are in and Ted and I have the dream of having a hobby farm someday. I think without your influence or you giving us that exposure we would not of even tried it.

Boy life without Grandpa is going to be tough. He was my rock in life. He taught me so much. He was a very smart man. There were times he would make me mad, but when I think about it, he was right. I guess I was to stubborn to listen. Well at least he is at peace now. No more pain. I am so glad I got to spend his last day with him. Just sitting by his bed and holding his hand. I am sure going to miss him.

I'm gonna miss ya Grandpa. I also want to express my condolences to the rest of my family , I will always remember the lessons I learned from Grandpa. Integrity being the strongest. Again I would like to share with you your sorrow, and wish you well in your own search for peace. God Bless

My most sincere condolences on the passing of Joe. I know he was very loved by my friends, Joan and Ted, and Elly and Emily.

We will truly miss this wounderful man! No one had a cornor on humor like Joe did! Everyone is here to teach others, Joe was the teacher of determination, no matter how much pain or discomfort he was in he always planted the spring crop. I feel really lucky to have known this great man. May god finely give him rest with all the friends and family who went before him.

To my cousins and especially Aunt Wanda. We have lost such a wonderful man in Uncle Joe! He has provided so much for all of us. I think the thing that stands out to me is that he always talked to us, even as kids, and made us feel important. He was a very special man indeed, and I will never forget him!

I am sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a good friend and an all around
great man. He will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
Al Deaton
