Joseph E. Henry, 85, died at his residence at the Chelsea in Bridgewater with his family by his side. The Family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Isodores Catholic Church in Quakertown, Pa at 10am until time of Mass. The Funeral Mass will be offered at 11am. Interment will be Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at St. Charles Cemetery, Long Island, NY. The Visitation will be on Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 2-6pm at the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave. Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
In lieu of flowers family has requested donations be made to St. Isidore R. C. Church
building fund 603 West Broad St. Ouakertown, Pa. 18951.
Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY, lived in East Brunswick, NJ., Walnutcreek, Ca., Parsippany, NJ., before settling to Quakertown, Pa. in 1996. Joseph received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a B.S. in Toxicology from Montclair State University. He served his country with the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. Joseph worked as a Chemical Engineer for Diamond Shamrock for 31 yrs. before retiring in 1987.
Joseph is predeceased by his wife Marilyn and brother Tom. He is survived by his loving sons Kevin (Audrey), Brian (Jean), Gerard, Andrew (Jackie), Denis (AnnMarie), and Michael (Debbie); his caring grandchildren Meghan (Cameron), Michael (Christa), Thomas, Sean, Laura, Katie, Nicole, Alexa (Rob), Justin, Alyssa, Parker, and Carter, his great granddaughter Aria Elizabeth and many loving nieces and nephews.
I am Sorry for your loss I belive he was my God father my name is Jessica Hanley and I was born in Brooklyn, I was Jessica Bernstein .
