We lost touch with our dear, dear friend, Kathy, Joe Jr.'s mom, years ago and we were searching Google to try to locate her through Joe Jr. and, sadly, found this memorial. We were also close, dear friends with his dad, Joe, Sr., and were so heart broken when we later learned of his passing years ago, too. We knew Joe Jr. and, of course, his sisters for years and attended Joe Jr.s wedding. Joe Jr. was a wonderful man and, like his dad, he left a wonderful legacy with those who were fortunate to know him. Our heartfelt condolences to his mom, Kathy, wife, Bonnie, and sisters, Diane and Jeneene. Joe Sr., We know you are looking down and you have every right to be proud! Joey is now in your loving arms again!

Dearest Joe,
We will always remember the great times we had with you, Bon and Dad at Eaglesmere, the "hunting days", trips to the shore and RI, etc. You were a wonderful person and we know that you are now at peace in Heaven and in the hands of God. We love and miss you.

My memory of Joe is when he would bring Duke into the office to surprise Bonnie with lunch. Joe would sit at the extra desk in the office and he a Bonnie would have lunch. Of course most of Joe's lunch he would feed to Duke. Joe's visits to the office with Duke will be missed.

Joe-I have many good memories. You were a piece of work-always busting my chops! I will always remember you and my son when he was young looking under the hood of the beautiful mustang and having an in depth car conversation of which no one but the two of you understood :) He use to say "Joe is the man" and says you still are. You will be greatly missed. RIP

Anyone who knew my brother knows he was a piece of work! But not a nicer person could you meet. He loved his fire department and would leave wherever he was to help. He is going to be missed.
