He will be greatly missed. Dr. Piszczor was remarkable clinician. He was knowledgable, and one of the most eleemosynary clinicians I´ve known. Scriptures teaches us that faith, hope and charity are life necessities but charity is the greatest. He actually cared about our Veterans and their families. He took great care of my brother a Vietnam Veteran with Chronic PTSD. I will remember him and his kindness and generosity. RIP and peace be with his family.

Dr. Joe was a big bro to my Loyola classmate, Jim and later a Jesse Brown VA Hospital colleague of my husband, Dr. Leon Kaufmann. His dedication and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Sincere condolences to his family.. I worked with Dr. Piszczor in my first job out of grad school. He was a wonderful teacher; kind, caring, very smart and talented too (he was also singing in the Chorus at the CSO at that time). We all learned so much from him... including how important it is to keep a sense of humor in stressful situations. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him...
