Joe was our beloved neighbor, and always showed an interest in our family - particularly in our sons. We always enjoyed having Joe in our home for Sabbath dinners and to celebrate Jewish holidays. He had a keen intellect, warmth, humor, and positive outlook on life and the future. He is sorely missed.

I worked directly for Joe in R&D for a number of years at Douglas and McDonnell Douglas. He was an excellent engineer, manager, and leader. He helped me become a better engineer and manager. He was also a very nice man. Working for Joe was one of my best jobs.
