I was saddened to learn of your mother's illness and death. I really enjoyed teaching with her. She was always so proud of you. I was not surprised to read that you took special care of her for years putting your education on hold...you've always done your best in all things.

Katie, Some of my most precious memories of Karen include her volunteering with us in Title I...her dry sense of humor, her genuine caring for students, and our silliness when the door was shut and no students were present. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with your mom at Manchester School. She was an amazing, caring educator and friend.
