Not sure what to say?

My sincere sympathy to Katie and family of Karen. She was a very special person and kept positive thoughts even when she faced many challenges. She was a wonderful teacher and loved her students. I am so sad to hear of her passing.

May you be at rest Karen. Prayers for your family in this heart breaking time.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Karen at Manchester school. She was a kind, selfless, caring teacher and friend. I really appreciated her sarcasm and quick wit. My sincere condolences on the loss of your wonderful Mom, Katie.

Dear Katie,
I was saddened to learn of your mother's illness and death. I really enjoyed teaching with her. She was always so proud of you. I was not surprised to read that you took special care of her for years putting your education on hold...you've always done your best in all things.
I'll be holding you in the Light during the coming difficult days.
Donna Hurd, Windham music educator, 1990-2010

Katie, Some of my most precious memories of Karen include her volunteering with us in Title I...her dry sense of humor, her genuine caring for students, and our silliness when the door was shut and no students were present. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with your mom at Manchester School. She was an amazing, caring educator and friend.

Katie, I am very sorry for the loss of your Mum. I worked with Karen and she was truly a gentle soul, always a smile on her face. Please accept my sincere condolences. Izzy Booth
