Kaye Jones, of Vestavia Hills, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 73. She was a 1966 graduate of the University of Mississippi and retired as a kindergarten teacher at All Saints Episcopal Day School in Homewood.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Fridy. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, David Jones; sons, Sean Jones (Jessica) and Colin Jones (Stephanie); and 8 grandchildren, Gracie and Jakob Fridy, Raven, Tristen, and Abigail Jones, and Jase, Finley, and Boden Jones.
A graveside service will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL, Friday, October 6, 2017, at 12:30 PM, Monsignor Martin Muller officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's, a food bank of choice, or adopt a rescue animal.
