Kelley Sara Keykhah, 28, formerly of Arkansas City, died Friday (January 1, 2010) in Lawrence. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (January 6, 2010) at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City. Burial in Parker Cemetery is scheduled for a later date. Kelley was born May 1, 1981, St. Joseph, Missouri to Ghodratollah and Lynda (Sadler) Keykhah. She was reared and educated in St. Joseph and Arkansas City. She attended Arkansas City High School. Kelley was working as a check-out clerk for Checker's Grocery Store in Lawrence at the time of her death. She has attended and was baptized in the Four Square Gospel Church of Ponca City. Survivors include her mother Lynda and step-father Lyle Redman of Arkansas City; father "Joe" Keykhah of Iran; two brothers Reza Keykhah of Arkansas City, George Redman of St. Joseph; two sisters Shanley Redman of Arkansas City, Jeanette Kleven of Bergman, Arkansas; several nieces including Kalina and Lilyana Keykhah and Alyssa and Allison Kleven. She was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Ele and grandmother Twila Sadler. A memorial has been established with the Cowley County Humane Society or a charity of the giver's choice.
