Kenneth Vandever Obituary
Kenneth is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Linda Vandever, his sons Kenneth Ray Vandever Jr. and wife Cindy and Keith Russell Vandever, 3 grandchildren, Brittany Miller and husband Brandon, Amanda Vandever Hill and husband Damian, Kenneth Russell Vandever and fiancée Elizabeth, and great-grandchildren Connor, Peyton, Kynadee, Mariah, Devon, Gracelynn and Paige.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law George Banuelos, grandson Brandon Vandever, sister Betty Salvato and brother Harold Vandever and his cats, Miss Kitty and Prissy. Pallbears are: Kenneth Ray Vandever Jr, Keith Vandever, Kenneth Russell Vandever, Brandon Miller, Todd Breeding, Andy Mendez. A visitation will begin at 1pm and the funeral service to start at 2 pm.on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 in the chapel at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Officiating the services will be Pastor David Pryor and Barbara Jacobs will read for the family. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer cemetery.

Kenneth I hope you know you are very dear to me thank you so much for being there for me. I am really going to miss you and I am going to miss being able to pick up the phone for you advice or just to say hi. I know you are in a better place and know your love continues to shine over all of us. Your granddaughter would have made you proud yesterday. She tried so hard to ensure that you would be looking down and smiling at the beautiful service in your honor. Your great-granddaughter Kynadee sang for you and I was so proud of her. You were such an important person in my children and grandchildrens life. Brittany and I shed so many tears for you. Tears of sadness as we will never hear your voice again and tears of joy as you are able to hug Brandon for us now. Until we are all together again...
