Not sure what to say?

I will miss her

Kristin, I have missed your not being here in Santa Rosa: your fine wit, your love of poetry, our fun dinners with Marvin and Leslie and other fellow Italianophiles, visiting you at Mick Loveland's violin shop and even dodging the ferocious "love bites" of your kitty Toby when I catsit for you ! Your nickname for my husband Richard (Dr. Doom) never failed to make us both chuckle. What a generous heart and fine hostess you were. Many laughs and delightful memories of yummy food and...

Kristin and I met at Lowell School in Winfield, Kansas when we were 5th graders. We became instant friends, and we spent lots of time together. She had a beautiful pink Schwinn bike that I was insanely envious of! We continued our friendship throughout Junior and Senior High School in Winfield, Ks. I last saw Kristin in Napa, California in 2012. We reminisced over lunch, and we laughed and laughed! As we left the restaurant she had her camera out, and took photos of the patron's food as we...

Kristin and Marie

What a beautiful person.

Spending time with Kris was always a pleasure. She would often start a conversation with some really serious information leading to deep and intellectual discourse, but those discussions would always lead to some really funny stuff as well. I think that the thing I will miss the most is her infectious laugh. That girl could laugh!

Kris and I were classmates. I still have fond memories of her both in classes and activities. We had recently reconnected thru the internet and know she cherished her classmates and time at Winfield High School. She was so excited about attending our 50th reunion this fall and was enthusiastically helping with planning. I know her smile will be missed by family, friends, and classmates.

Kris was a friend and classmate here in Winfield, Ks. So very talented with her music and photography. We are missing her, especially this weekend, as we celebrate our school orchestras 130 anniversary. RIP Kristin

Kristin was my cello teacher and a friend whose spirit and elan were as instructive to my life as the music lessons were. I will miss her.
