I have some great memories of Paul that will be with me for the rest of my life. He and Helga taught me so much about life and I am grateful to have met them and many of their friends.
I will miss Paul's sense of humor, his love of music and our trips to the movies. He was like a kid again when we were at the movies -- that will be how I most often remember him.

Paul was a beautiful man, one who never forgot his roots, nor the village where he was brought up. He compiled a list of every person in that village, most or all of whom were killed in the holocaust. He had an open heart.
