Not sure what to say?

I was at Rodland Toyota in Everett recently and saw somone who looked like my friend Larry. My heart got a pang of sorrow for the loss of my good friend. I remember again the many ways he mentored me without really trying, the wisdom he offered when it came to providing intervention in our work with elderly clients and prior to that children and families, and his delight in finding something to laugh at in a his delight in a Dad joke, timed well. Larry, your legacy of being a straight...

We are coming up on the 4th Anniversary of Larry's death. How much can I expand on the man who was my informal mentor in so many ways. Larry was a social work philosopher, always looking at the deeper meaning of people's behavior, trying to find ways to help, focusing on "What's in the Best Interest of the Client?" Larry taught me so many things in life that continue to this day. He may have been dad, uncle, grandpa to his family. He is "Unforgettable" to me because of his wit, wisdom,...

Larry was one of a kind, being generous and free with his thoughts. He was the most honest an forthright person I have had the pleasure to spend time with. His abruptness sometimes caught people off guard, but he always never said anything maliciously, it was always his opinion. He loved karaoke and was fascinated with trees and nature. He was also, a great teacher of golf., spending many hour tutoring, patiently. He will be truly missed. His golf partners, Greg and JC were true friends....

You always knew how to make us laugh, we have many great family memories. Uncle Larry you are Loved and will surely be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Larry was a great person and a great friend, I will miss him and his teaching me to golf and fish!

To the Higbee Family, I am very sorry for your loss. Larry was a caring man and he cared deeply for his friends. Larry will be missed by us all.
