Mrs. Saltzman and family,
We are saddened and sorry we did not know of Larry's passing. I write for my husband Bob Welsch but knew Larry also. Bob had the pleasure of working with Larry in the 1970's at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. Bob retired from the AIU in 2010 but it was Larry who helped make that possible. Wow. I shared an apartment with Larry when we went to the art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1967-68. He was a few years older than me. His approach was so professional it had an influence on me in the kind of work that I turned in. He taught me how to work with spotless artwork. Good man! Wish I'd contacted him sooner. My condolences to his family.

We have wonderful memories of times spent with you all in Donegal Ireland.

My deepest sympathy to the Saltzman family, coming into the printing industry at 23 I had no idea about the business, Larry gave me the opportunity to start my position in bindery, over the years he entrusted in me to learn as much as I can and put forth a great effort in everything I learned and produced. I am broken-hearted that Larry has died. Of course, my dear friend Nancy Stickle informed me of Larry's passing. Larry and I were high school sweet hearts, and that never goes away. My family has fond memories of Larry. Your family has been fortunate to have had him all these years. I am so sorry for the loss for everyone. He was a great guy! Love, Carolyn
