I first met Larry when I was a new hire joining the staff at the Ford Milwaukee District Office in 1972. That office had great chemistry and Larry was one of several that went out of his way to show me the ropes. He was a great guy, very smart and a smooth professional. My condolences to Ruth and Family.

Mrs. Vernier, my deepest condolences to you and your family. It was pleasure to know and work with Larry, as he was a larger than life personality for a recently graduated kid such as myself learning the car business with Ford Motor Company when I was first transferred to Houston in the late 1990's.

Ruth and the entire Vernier family, I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Larry. He was a great mentor, boss, husband and leader. I knew him personally and professionally. Working for Larry in the Tec Hotline was a joy every day. I remember when we car pooled and I drove my Mercury Lynx diesel. It was fun to see the faces when both of us tried to get out of that little car. We worked hard together and it was a pleasure to know both of you.
Ruth our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God bless and comfort all.
