I have a childhood full of memories of Mrs. McGee's kindness, smiles, and warm hugs. When I was about 7 years old, she became my godmother at Shepherd King and I still smile when I see the old polaroid picture of the two of us on Godparent match day. I remember helping her fill the communion trays as an altar server and watching her and my grandmother carefully change the altar cloths in preparation for the next Sunday's service.
