Dear Dick, and Family
Still so hard to believe that she is not with us physically, but I know her spirit will be forever with us going forward. My love for Sweet Vernie is a love that I have never experienced and will never experience again. One of a Kind, true deep love and her kindness towards others is something I wish we could spread around the world. She was a great example of a human being and a great example of what God tells us all to be. I love her and will continue to love her spirit. Hoping you all find the peace you so much deserve. As looking at the family she leaves behind, you can tell that she did a great job with passing on her kindness and love for one another. Love you all very much, Glenda

Dick,
Please know that we at Sight into Sound send our deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your family. I had the privilege of knowing you as a volunteer/friend and your lovely wife. Your marriage, your love of God and family are what I always will remember and miss. Today, your voice was on our radio reading one of your books to our listeners. I wanted to let you know that your voice and your time with our organization still lives on. We love you and miss you.

It is with deep sympathy and sense of loss that I send prayers and thoughts to Laverne's sweet family. Laverne Hokenson will forever be remembered as a gentle, loving, elegant lady who truly saw the possibility of beauty in everything; and who always gave me a personal sense of peace and genuine friendship. God rest her sweet soul. I know those who knew and loved her will understand when I say that the world would definitely be a more loving, forgiving and compassionate place if more people lived and thought as did this lovely lady. Her memory will be treasured.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but our loving god promises to give the strength and courage you'll need to endure, and to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. (Isaiah 40:29, 41:10, 13)

Craig -- I was so sorry to see this in today's paper and wish I'd met your mother! I can only imagine how proud of you she must have been and happy for you when you added Sandy to your life.
Wishing peace for your family in the coming days.
