McMILLAN, Lee Roy (Age 88) A longtime Valleyford resident passed away July 12, 2015. He was born July 23, 1926 in Snohomish, WA to Roy and Ninfa McMillan. Lee Roy is survived by his wife Eda of 66 years; daughters Connie (Dave) Ross and Kathy (Steve) Asher; grandchildren, Teri (Ross) Fisher, Lary Ross and Lindsay (Asher) Taylor; and three great-grandsons, Jared, Gage and Jayln. Lee Roy farmed all his life in the Valleyford area with his twin brother Llewellyn, who preceded him in death. Lee Roy graduated from Rockford High School. We wish to thank Chris and Kathy from Vera Valley AFH who helped so much with his care in his final months. You were a wonderful Husband, father and brother. I will never forget you and Llewellyn and the only way I could tell you apart was that Llewellyn wore a hat and you didn't when I first met you! And you always had Eda with you! We all miss you here in Rockford.

I did not know you personally, Lee Roy, but Connie and Teri are fabulous friends of mine. I know you must have been a great person to raise such a great family. Have fun on the other side.

Thank you for always making us feel welcome in your home. As a child, my numerous visits down the road always yielded a fresh chicken dinner, lots of energetic conversation and happy, playful memories with the girls. Jay will miss his farm visits with you, Lee Roy, and we all will miss the many, many years of friendship. We offer our support to your family and are thankful for the many years of support to ours. Jay, Sue and Brandon Cronk
