Lillian "Lettie" Morris Braxton

Lillian "Lettie" Morris Braxton, 89

Of Richmond, Va. entered into eternal rest peacefully on Sept. 01, 2017. She was the daughter of the late  Hattie Boisseau Morris and Howard K. Morris, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred R. Braxton, Sr.

Lillian was baptized in the Baptist faith and joined Fourth Baptist Church; she was a life-long dedicated church member unto death.
Lillian Braxton joined The Links, Incorporated in 1983. She was an active member that recently achieved Platinum Status with The James River Valley Chapter located in Richmond, VA. Platinum status is a high honor achieved by being a good standing active member for a certain number of years and reaching a certain age.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted family; one daughter, Dr. Wanda S. Ross of Henrico, VA. and one son, Alfred "Buddy" R. Braxton, Jr. of Orlando, Fla., five grandchildren and one great-grand child and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 09, 2017 at Fourth Baptist Church Richmond, VA., with the Rev. Diana Brown officiating, interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Family will received friends  6-8pm.on Friday, Sept. 08, 2017 at McClenny and Watkins funeral home.
