Lillian DeRoach

Mrs. DeRoach was the matriarch of Union Street. She always had a kind word, and spoke with sincerity and genuine interest when asking us kids how we were and what was new. Both she and her husband were admired and respected by the entire neighborhood. She watched over us then and I'm sure continues to do so from the other side. Mrs. DeRoach, may God continue to bless you and your family and may He grant them the peace of knowing you and Mr. DeRoach are once again together.

I remember Mr. and Mrs. DeRoach from Calvary Moravian Church. They were both lovely people.

Sincerest condolences to the family. I will always remember Mr. & Mrs. DeRoach sitting on the front porch watching all of us kids running up and down the street. May you rest in peace, Mrs. DeRoach.
