Lisa Anne Guthrie Mauldin, age 47, of Genoa, Arkansas, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, in a local hospital.



 



Lisa was born July 11, 1969, in Abilene, Texas and had lived in the Texarkana area since 1991.  She was a Corrections Officer for the Miller County Sheriff’s Office. She was a breast cancer survivor, loved her family, and her grandchildren were especially dear to her heart.



 



She is survived by her husband, Travis Mauldin of Genoa, Arkansas, three daughters and sons-in-law, Mandy and Aaron Page of Genoa, Arkansas, Billye and David Roberts of Fouke, Arkansas, and Nikki Mauldin and Zack Heath, of Texarkana, Arkansas, one son, James (Bubba) Campbell and Samantha of Redwater, Texas, a step-son and his wife, Brandon and April Mauldin of Blossom, Texas, her father and mother, Bill and Ann Guthrie of Genoa, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Annette and Steve Cagle of Ratcliff, Arkansas, one brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Tracy Guthrie of Genoa, Arkansas, one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pandora and Rusty Weaver of Blossom, Texas, eight grandchildren, Gracie, Rylan, Skylar, Gavin, Braylee, Kinley, Preston, and Ruston, and numerous nieces and nephews.



 



A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 P. M. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. George Goins officiating.  Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.



 



The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday.

Words cannot express the grief that you are suffering, nor the sorrow that the loss of Officer Mauldin has brought to our staff and families. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
