I fondly remember Lois Hirsch as a member and choir director of Trinity Lutheran Church in Willoughby. My parents, Art and Marge Schmegner sang in the choir Lois directed for many years. When I married in 1952, we moved away from Willoughby so I did not have the prividedge of singing under Lois's direction. She was loved and respected for her talent, compassion and patience that a volunteer choir demands.
