Lois Stalfort

Lois Stalfort, 89, died at Seasons Hospice in Randallstown, MD on Tuesday July 19, 2011. She has been a Laurel resident since 1965 until recently where she resided at Augsburg Lutheran Home and Village in Baltimore. She was born in North Carolina on July 13, 1922 to the late Jessie James and Effie Allen. She retired from Arbitron at the age of 75. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Moffitt Stalfort and siblings Bee Ham, Lottie Brown and James Allen. She is survived by her sons Danny Stalfort and Telmadge Shepherd and her grandchildren Danny Stalfort, Jr., Ashley Stalfort, Jamie Mints, Stacy Shepherd, and Nicole Shepherd. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 9:00-10:00 am at the DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 where services will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
