Loretta you were a very special and dignified lady. I will always remember the story you told me about your delight in holding and showing love for sick hospitalized infants in need. When I think of you, I will remember you, Deedee(your sweet little yorkie) and I sitting together in your living room smiling at one another. May you be blessed.

You are truly missed Loretta. I fondly remember the special times we spent together and all the stories you shared about you and your life with my grandfather. I admired and loved you and Gramps very much. It is comforting to know that you are with him now. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers always.

I treasure my memories of Loretta, Gramps and 226 Old Mill Road. It is heartwarming to know that they are back together. Rest in peace Loretta.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

It was a blessing to have been chosen to be Loretta's Care giver She had given me the opportunity to share her last years with her she was one special who definitely left a hole in my heart She will be greatly missed, As I say to myself since her passing the good lord took back his angel, he lent her out to us for the inspiration and love she brought upon others, I miss you Loretta God rest your soul you are gone but will never be forgotten

Loretta and I grew apart after my Dad died. Later in life, when she began to suffer from Alzheimer's, we became close. She loved my father very much, and I came to love her very much. I will miss her!
