Lorraine Joy Levey nee Klanman, beloved wife of the late Ronald S.; loving mother of Alan (Georgina) Levey and Lynne (David) Schreibman; cherished grandmother of Nathan and Aaron Levey, Ali, Benjamin and Sarah Schreibman; dear sister of Ann (late Robert) Wangers; fond aunt of Tom and Gordon Wangers. Funeral service Monday 1:30 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Digestive Health Foundation, benefiting gastrointestinal research at Northwestern Memorial Hospital c/o David Sack, 251 East Huron, Suite 3-200, Chicago, IL 60611. Thanks to OLLI I had the opportunity to get to know and admire her. It was a pleasure to work with Lorraine on an OLLI art appreciation presentation. She shared her love and knowledge of art with all of us. I will miss her--we will all miss her--one of the most elegant and warm women I have ever known. How lucky we all are to have known her.

My sympathy to Lorraine's family. I was in class with her for many semesters at Northwestern (OLLI). I will miss her.

I will miss Lorraine's hugs and calling me "Dolly" every time we saw each other. Lorraine was at all the big milestones; college football games, sorority events, showers, weddings, babies and sadly funerals. Her hugs and support were always so genuine and elegant, just like her. I am adding her to my list of angels I have looking out for us all. I know she is being welcomed by them all.
