Lucile Madge Lightfoot Fink, born February 2, 1917 met God on December 4, 2016.
Lucile resident of Iowa then Texas died at the age of 99. Born February 2, 1917 in Buchanan, Michigan to Charles and Arlie Lightfoot, peacefully died, Dec. 4 2016. She graduated from Buchanan High School then Gates Business College in Waterloo Iowa. On November 25, 1937, she married the love of her life Edwin Henry Fink, a devoted couple for 68 years until Ed’s death in 2005. Raising 4 daughters they moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa in 1952, attending St. John’s Lutheran, then Bethlehem Lutheran Church. After retirement, the couple moved to Lansing, Iowa and wintered in Brownsville, then Harlingen, Texas for years until, moving year-round to Harlingen. Lucile moved to Coppell, Texas in 2009 to reside with Maggie and Tom Lund.
Lucile loved her family, all her nieces and nephews, playing cards, reading, swimming, fishing, camping and visiting with her wonderful friends.
Lucile was united in heaven with her parents, husband Edwin Fink, brother Ray Lightfoot, and sister Maxine Myer, 2 daughters and their husbands Edna & Patrick Chamberlain, Lois & Fredrick Sheeler, and her great grandson David Chamberlain.
Remembering her as the loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother are her daughters, Margaret Lund with husband Thomas of Coppell, Texas and Kathleen Lund with husband Richard of Anchorage, Alaska and her sister Ruth Gorman of Redding, California.
Grandchildren with their spouses are Roger & Tracey Chamberlain, Christine & Darrell Bond, Elizabeth Chamberlain, Alec & Toni Johnson, Ann Chamberlain, Edwina &Charlie Murphy, Alysia & Lawrence Kampf, Paul & Amanda Lund, Matthew Lund and Bradley &Crystal Lund.
Great grandchildren, Rachel Myers, Katherine Chamberlain, Christopher Johnson, Elliott Blocha, Nicholas Blocha, Rylan Lund and Kinley Lund.
Great great grandchild Jacob Graves, beloved daughter-in-laws, Erma Chamberlain and Penny Sheeler.
Lucile’s memorial service will be held at 10:30am, December 29, 2016 at Rejoice Lutheran Church, 532 East Sandy Lake Road, Coppell, Texas 75019. Rejoice Lutheran hosting a reception following. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to Rejoice Lutheran Church Kitchen Fund, where Lucile was a faithful member.
