To Shirley and family:
We were so shocked and saddened to hear about Lyle's death and your injuries. Our friendship goes back to 1960 when I joined the Hartford. We are so glad we got to spend some time with you on our San Diego trip. Whenever the burial service in Sterling is arranged we plan to be there. Our prayers, thoughts, and love go to you and all the family. May the peace of God be with you and sustain you.

We knew Lyle & Shirley many years ago when Lyle & I worked together at the Hartford Insurance Company. We have many fond memories with Lyle & Shirley. We have seen them twice in recent years and enjoyed discussing old memories. We also were saddened to learn of his sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Shirley and the family.

I am saddened to have learned of the sudden death of Lyle and the devastating injury to his wife Shirley. My association with Lyle goes back over 40 years when we both were employed by the Hartford. Lyle was a very dedicated and successful insurance professional. My sympathy and thoughts go out to Shirley and his children. Lyle will be greatly missed by his former Hartford associates.

Charles and I are saddened to hear about the tragic death of Lyle. He was a wonderful friend to the P.E.O. chapter and to his wife Shirley. His humor will live on as will the wonderful memories that we shall have.
