Not sure what to say?

The week before Christmas Dad told me that he had recieved a lovely Holiday Letter from Madalyn Corrington. I read with great interest on how all the Corrington's were doing, and about the "cozy" house in Carmichael. I commented to my Dad that I was going to stop by someday because "Mrs, Corrington ALWAYS had those wonderful, made from scratch, brownies that I use to beg Cathy for." I am so sorry I never got the opprotunity, and even more sorry for all of our loss. Your Mom was a...

Jana...How sorry I am to hear of your mom's passing. She was truly a great lady. I know she will be missed by all who knew her. We only get in touch when events happen or by accident and I truly miss you. Your family was like a second family to me. Please pass my sympathy to your entire family and may she find her love waiting for her in heaven. She can sing forever and never miss a note or be off key. My love to you all.

Dear Jana and family, I was very sorry to read of your mother's passing and will remember her in my prayers. It is so hard to lose a parent at any time, but especially difficult at this time of year. Although we have lost contact over the years, you have often been in my thoughts. May the memories of your mother help get you all through this very sad time. Most sincerely, Sally (Griffith) Zentner.

Catherine and family,

I am sorry to hear about your loss. You will be in my prayer intentions.

I first met Maddy in late 1968 when Camilla City met in an old school in Sacramento. She was a Tenor with the "Tuneweavers" and when they broke up, she was in my Quartet. Maddy, Tenor, Betty Weber, Lead, Baritone, Vera Marie Van Natta, and I sang Bass. The firendships I made as a Sweet Ad have lasted ever since. Maddy and I got together often and laughed a lot. We both enjoyed our Lunchs so much. It does not seem possible that she is not with us in this World. I know she and Don are...

With deep sadness, I send along condolencses to Maddy's family. What a great gal she was. She shared so much of herself and talents. The angels sing in perfect harmony with her now.We were lucky to have her in our group. You'll stay in my prayers.

Jana and Family,

I am SO sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Maddy was one of the first people I met when I first started singing with Sweet Adelines in 1981. I will remember the encouragement she gave me to do my first tag quartet-ing as being the start of my Happy Addiction to 4-part harmony which led eventually to the opportunity of singing at International with the Sacramento Valley Chorus and being a proud original tenor of The Ritz quartet. I know she will be forevermore...

Catherine,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, but I pray that your sadness is tempered by the thought that your mom is now singing praises in heaven.

The sweet memories of you are many, though the time I spent with you too few. You were a dear, precious, kind woman, full of grace and love. I will remember you always with love. Rose Schembri
