Not sure what to say?

Maggi was the most "worldly woman" I have ever known & loved! everything in this wonderful world excited her! Creative, vivacious, loving, happy, and UNIQUE! What a joy to have had her as my friend! I will never forget the times we shared and all the recipes & gardening tips & art exchanges! I will continue to grow as Maggi did. I hope to always see the beauty of the world and thank God everyday for His Blessings! Faith, Family, Friends, & Flowers!
God Bless & Keep Her always in our...

As the current director of Sweet Adelines, let me say how saddened I am to hear of Maggi's passing! As a charter member, I have her photo in our 50 Year Celebration Book! The sympathies of the entire Grand Rapids Sweet Adelines are with you, her family!

It continually surprised me the way she found creative outlets, adapting to anything, and keeping that irrepressible forward-moving spirit. I fondly remember many weekend adventures with the Muirs - wilderness hikes, heading out the channel to Lake Michigan on that big cabin cruiser, the audio-visual presentations and popcorn...I’m just old enough to remember the motorcycle era, too. Later, as she developed into a full-fledged professional in the food industry, I also settled into a career...

My family met the Muirs nearly 30 years ago. I enjoyed spending time with them on their farm in Allendale along with all the cats, dogs, chickens and horses. Maggi was a terrific spirit who lit up the room. She always had an interesting project, recipe or story to share. What a fun person! I'm glad we were able to get together in February, to share food, drink and more good times. I will miss her. My thoughts are with the family in this difficult time.

What a unique and positive spirit! Her enthusiasm was contagious. Maggi, you'll be missed. My condolences to Jerry, Bob, Becky and Nancy.

The song is ended, but the melody lingers on....

I'm very saddened by the loss of Maggi. I met her before she joined the Muir family more than 50 years ago. She was a straight-shooter, yet warm and funny, a kind soul, the type of person you were always glad to see again. My condolences go out to Gerry and their family.

Maggie was a beautiful, shining star. She will live forever in my heart and memories. She will be missed very much and I feel truly blessed to have known her.

It was a blessing to have known Maggi. Though she will be missed we are glad to have had her in our lives.
