I'm so very sorry for your loss and that I missed your mother's service. We just returned last week from a 3 week trip in Europe and I hadn't heard until Dara told me today. It's odd but I actually happened to be driving down St. Charles last Friday and saw an ambulance in her block which made me wonder how she was doing. I will always remember her twinkling eyes. I also remember how Maria would call me to remind me about Sociedad meetings. Because we served on the board together I had the good fortune to meet her daughter, Maria, who has become the dearest of my friends. Knowing Maria and her husband, John has been the sweetest of blessings.
I have many memories of speaking Spanish and French and praying with both Marias.
